I will be taking this one seriously as I am joining at the beginning and not the last 2 days.
The "Artemis" Challenge has been dropped since it has been over and voted on
without me having a remotely complete piece to contribute.

Jadis - The White Witch
Deadline - Sunday, May 26 10PM GMT 
In the C.S. Lewis book The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the first book in the The Chronicles of Narnia series, we are introduced to the evil
White Witch, Jadis. During her reign over Narnia she began the Long Winter, a curse that magically forced Narnia into a hundred-year state
of frozen snow and ice. The curse lasted all through her reign, thus earning her the title, the "White Witch".
At seven foot tall, Jadis was a strikingly beautiful and Amazonian woman, with long black hair and paper white skin. She had an excellent sense
of style, and always dressed in an extravagant manner that showed off her power and status, this included flowing romanesque robes, furs
and a golden crown. Jadis also carried a magic wand which would give her the power to turn anyone into stone.
